Furniture Consignment/purchase
The Antique Warehouse will, on occassion, consign or purchase furnishings of good quality from past and present clients. The furniture must be marketable and in excellent condition. The process of consigning/selling is simple but the required steps are necessary:
1. E-mail or bring in photos with return contact information to antiquewarehouse@telus.net
2. We will get back to you within 24 hours if we are interested.
3. We will contact you by phone or email with a rough estimate of what we feel your piece is worth and then arrange a personal visit to inspect your piece. It is only after a personal visit that we can ascertain the true value of your piece depending on condition and finish.
4. Please do not contact us for estimates on reselling your item. We are not appraisers and suggest you contact an appraiser listed in the yellow pages.
5. We will not make home visits until we have received photos of your piece. Please be sure to include as many as you can, showing all damage or wear of your piece.
Rentals:
We offer furniture rentals to the movie and staging industry. Please contact the store for our competitive industry rates.
Personal Shopping:
By special request, Owners Larry and Mark will purchase pieces directly in Europe for clients. The process involves the emailing of pictures, dimensions, history and of course the price. The piece must be paid for before departing Europe. There are no refunds once the piece is purchased and arrives in Vancouver.
